Autistic Adult Support Group in San Antonio, TX.
A therapeutic support group for Autistic Adults ages 25+ in San Antonio, TX.
you’re not to0 Much, you’re not too quiet, you’re not to0 loud, you’re not too direct. You’re you— and that’s welcome.
We don’t teach you how to hide your autistic identity.
We embrace the whole version of you. Something the world has quite missed.
You are exhausted from the weight of the worlds demands and call for uniformity. Everytime you boldly and bravely attend a social experience, you find the quiet pressure of having to mask in order to “blend” in to the crowd of people. When you call it at the end of the night, your completely drained, disheveled, and maybe even anxious about how the night went or if anyone thought that you were “weird”. Ruminating if anyone was standoffish or avoidant of conversations with you and if you made the appropriate gestures that matched the social setting. Ultimately, leaving the night feeling lonely and craving likeness, safe connection, and freedom of autonomy.
Here is the direct and hard truth:
If you don’t have community with other neurodivergent people, then you are missing out on real connection.
You spend so much of your life trying hard to appear “normal” and embrace the world around you because it calls for uniformity and oppression. They don’t understand what it’s like to see the world through your lense and its not all on you to help them decipher it for themselves. Take a break, unmask, and unwind with others that truely get it. What better way to find connection while playing board games with other Autistic people craving connection without pressure. You won’t be judged for needing breaks, stimming, info-dumping, or sitting quietly and observing. The best part is you won’t have to explain your brain here. We accept every part that makes you who you are. Schedule a free consultation with Genesius Weaver (group facilitator) today to learn more about the foundations that started this journey forward.
Maybe you’re…
⟶ Struggling with anxiety, isolation, or disconnection?
⟶ feeling nervous about committing to something in advance?
⟶ Fed up with feeling like the world doesn’t understand you the way you want them too?
⟶ ready to try something new to learn more about yourself and others?
⟶ craving social connection but have no clue how to start or what to even do?
⟶ Tired of masking to fit in and feeling burnt out from monitoring everyone’s emotions just to feel safe?
Hi, I’m Genesius and i am here to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—no masking, no pressure, no shrinking yourself.
Life can feel unbelievably heavy when the world keeps asking you to be smaller, quieter, less “intense,” or more “normal.” If you’ve ever felt misunderstood, brushed off, or pressured to fit into a box that was never meant for you, this group is designed with you in mind.
In my work, I believe deeply that every part of you deserves space to exist. Your passions, your unique communication style, your sensory needs, your humor, your depth, your hyperfocus, your softness—all of it matters. My approach, inspired by Gestalt and Narrative therapies, invites you to slow down, tune in to what your body is telling you, and gently reconnect with emotions you may have tucked away just to make it through the world.
I show up with curiosity, compassion, creativity, and yes, humor- because healing doesn’t have to feel clinical or cold. I’m especially passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ autistic adults and others exploring identity, community, spirituality, or belonging. I welcome gamers, storytellers, strategists, deep thinkers, quiet observers, and anyone who has ever wondered if there is a place where they truly fit.
🎲 This group is one of those places.
It’s not just about nerdy board games—it’s about connection.
It’s about having structure that feels safe, shared interests that make socializing easier, and a space where stimming is welcome, silence isn’t awkward, and you don’t have to hide the parts of you that other people may not understand.
You deserve a community where you’re seen and valued, exactly as you are.
I’m here to help you reconnect with your story, find your voice, and build relationships with others who think and feel in ways that resonate with you.
I’m glad you’re here. Truly.
Let’s create something meaningful together.

Therapy is naturally a very vulnerable and uncomfortable place to be due to many common misconceptions of what it might be like. Healing can only take place in a space you are comfortable in and this group being closed means that no other person will be able to join our space after it begins. This gives you the maximum amount of privacy and confidentiality while helping you get to know others in the group more closely. All discussions and topics said within the group are to remain in the group at all times and not discussed outside of therapy. This is to respect the integrity of this groups structure as well as your own confidential experience.
-
Therapy is considered a medical expense that is eligible for FSA/HSA cards to cover the cost. Otherwise, all major credit/debit cards are accepted. No check or cash options available.
-
If you are looking to try therapy, a support group is one of the most cost effective ways to start your healing process.
Before starting, you will have a one-on-one intake session with the therapist to ensure the group is a good fit for your journey.
This appointment costs $75 due at the time of the appointment.
The 4 week group experience is $125 if paid in full or $35 if paid weekly.
++No refunds or date changes will be made if unable to commit to the full length of time. By signing up, you are making a commitment to attend all 4 sessions of the cohort. Emergencies are an exception. ++

I feel that you and I should be allowed to determine your treatment needs based upon your unique situation rather than an insurance company. I can best ensure your confidentiality, goals for therapy, and treatment plan when I am able to practice independent from insurance companies.
One main reason why I do not partner with insurance companies is because they often require I share your diagnosis and treatment plan in order to receive payment. This information then becomes part of your permanent medical record which at times can have negative consequences related to employment or when you are seeking new medical or life insurance. I also prefer to be an out-of-network provider since insurance companies usually require therapists to follow approved treatment methods and often limit the number of sessions that a client can receive.
