Women’s Anxiety Support Group in San Antonio, TX.

A therapeutic self-care focused anxiety support group with crocheting as a technique in San Antonio, TX.

You do everything for everyone else and it feels like people just walk all over you!

Carve out intentional dedicated time in your week… JUST…FOR…YOU!

Whether it be running around with kids or trying to reconnect intimately with your partner… Life feels like chaos.

You work so hard, every single day, to meet the needs of others and to make sure everything goes smoothly. When the day comes to a close, you either crave some “me-time” or are too exhausted you just collapse on the bed. Despite this, when others reach out with requests you feel a pull to agree or commit even though pure exhaustion plagues your headspace because guilt is the voice in the back of your mind, telling your what you should or shouldn’t do. Interrupting your desire for self-care, rest, and relaxation. Some days are okay, more energized than usual, but other days it feels like you are alone in this. If this is you, reach out.

Let’s Be Honest:

If you are not happy than no one at home is either.

You work tirelessly to meet the demands of others, showing up and rising to every occasion just to prove that you are delightful, caring, or hardworking even. But when it comes to your desires, wants, and needs, you are plagued with guilt filled contemplation and struggle to precisely convey what really puts a whistle in your own flute. Let’s face it, if you can’t be harmonious than how can anyone else around you be too? Imagine doing something that feels fun and heals your inner chaos while bringing connection and validation into your space.

FRequently asked questions

  • Therapy is naturally a very vulnerable and uncomfortable place to be due to many common misconceptions of what it might be like. Healing can only take place in a space you are comfortable in and this group being closed means that no other person will be able to join our space after it begins. This gives you the maximum amount of privacy and confidentiality while helping you get to know others in the group more closely. All discussions and topics said within the group are to remain in the group at all times and not discussed outside of therapy. This is to respect the integrity of this groups structure as well as your own confidential experience.

  • Therapy is considered a medical expense that is eligible for FSA/HSA cards to cover the cost. Otherwise, all major credit/debit cards are accepted. No check or cash options available.

  • If you are looking to try therapy, a support group is one of the most cost effective ways to start your healing process.

Before starting, you will have a one-on-one intake session with the therapist to ensure the group is a good fit for your journey.

This appointment costs $75 due at the time of the appointment.

The 4 week group experience is $125 if paid in full or $35 if paid weekly.

++No refunds or date changes will be made if unable to commit to the full length of time. By signing up, you are making a commitment to attend all 4 sessions of the cohort. Emergencies are an exception. ++

  • I feel that you and I should be allowed to determine your treatment needs based upon your unique situation rather than an insurance company. I can best ensure your confidentiality, goals for therapy, and treatment plan when I am able to practice independent from insurance companies.

One main reason why I do not partner with insurance companies is because they often require I share your diagnosis and treatment plan in order to receive payment. This information then becomes part of your permanent medical record which at times can have negative consequences related to employment or when you are seeking new medical or life insurance. I also prefer to be an out-of-network provider since insurance companies usually require therapists to follow approved treatment methods and often limit the number of sessions that a client can receive.

  • Each group is approximately 1.5 hour long and each cohort class is a 4 week experience. DBT skills focused are Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness.

The ongoing open group meets weekly and each month we focus on different skill building topics. Each group is a 4 week commitment.

No refunds or date changes will be made if unable to commit to the full length of time. Attendance is strongly encouraged to all four experiences.

LOCATION will be disclosed with specifics after intake appointment, consents, and upon final booking complete for privacy and safety reasons. The general location will be near the Medical Center area for in person group occurrences. Is not applicable to online.

  • The support group meets on Saturday from 1:30pm-3:00pm.

Location is disclosed after intake appointment in order to maintain safety and privacy within the group. However, the general area will be located near the medical area.

  • This is a closed support group, meaning no other person will be able to join after the start date. This is one of the reasons that attendance is so vital because it is not a group without you! We hold each other accountable by attending as a whole. Closed support groups also provide the maximum amount of privacy in a group setting due to its exclusivity and familiar connections.

  • Just yourself! All supplies will be included in this experience. If online, supplies will be shipped to you. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided for in person experiences only.
